Exchange Online has no New-MailboxExportRequest. Native options are Microsoft Purview Content Search (slow, produces investigation-format PSTs), PowerShell + Compliance Search (same engine, more control), or Outlook desktop export (single mailbox, breaks on public folders over 50 GB). Microsoft’s own first-party backup service (GA July 2024) doesn’t produce PSTs; it’s in-place restore only. For portable offloading, archives, public folders, online archives, or bulk offboarding, those options will hurt.<\/p>\n
