How to Create a Third-Party App Password in Yandex

Follow the below-listed steps to create a third-party app password in the Yandex Mail account.

Note: To Create an App Password In your Yandex Account, You need to enable IMAP Access.

STEP 1

Log In to your Yandex Mail Account.

Go to the Profile option and click on the Account Management option.

In the following Yandex profile wizard, Tap the Passwords and Authorization option.

Now, select the App Password option under Passwords and Authorization.

After that, you will witness a pop-up of App passwords, Hit on the Create a new Password button.

Select Mail as the App type and enter the name of the password. (You can enter anything as per your requirement). Furthermore, click the Create button.

Finally, you have successfully created the Yandex Mail account app password. Tap Done to close the settings.

Follow the below steps to enable IMAP Access for your Yandex Mail account.

Sign In to your Yandex Mail account.

Tap on the Gear option from the Mailbox wizard and tap the option Other.

From the left-side navigation, select Email Clients.

After that, tick the option From the imap.yandex.com server via IMAP. Also, click on the Save Changes button.
