Tutorial – Download & Use Inbox Repair Tool (Scanpst.exe)

   32-bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16
   For Outlook 2013:
   64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15
   32-bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15
   For Outlook 2010:
   64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14
   32-bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14
   For Outlook 2007:
   64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12
   32-bit: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12
4. Now, double-click on scanpst.exe and then Microsoft Outlook Inbox Repair Tool window will be open
5. Then press the Browse button to select the corrupted Outlook PST file and click Open

   

6. After that click on the Start button to begin with the scanning process

   

7. After the files are scanned, any error, if present will show by “Errors were found in this file. To repair these errors, click Repair”.
8. Next press Repair button to repair the PST file. You can also tick mark on “Make backup of scanned file before repairing” create a backup of files

   

9. After completion of the process, a message will be shown “Repair complete”. Then click on Ok.
